MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to start planning your weekend. The next couple of days are full of fashion, scares and adventure.

Great Urban Race

There’s an epic adventure coming to Minneapolis this Saturday called The Great Urban Race.

Teams solve 12 clues and complete mental and physical challenges while discovering the city in a fresh way.

Race headquarters are at Hubert’s Sports Bar & Grille downtown. Costs start at $50 per person, depending on how soon you sign up.

Valley Scare

Let the haunting begin. This weekend, Valleyfair morphs into ValleyScare.

At night, the amusement park will come alive with the walking dead, mazes and all sorts of scare zones that will bring your fears and phobias to life.

The scaring happens weekend nights through October 28.

Too frightening for you? Planet Spooky is open to all ages during the daytime on Saturdays and Sundays.

Envision Artopia 2012

As the leaves turn red and gold and a chill fills the air, prepare for autumn in style at Envision: Artopia.

This fashion event kicks off Minneapolis-St. Paul Fashion Week this Friday night at the Graves 601 hotel.

It’s an evening of local fashion, art and music. Tickets start at $20.
