BECKER COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) – A 22-year-old Becker County man, who swerved to avoid a hitting pedestrian on Friday morning in north-central Becker County, has died.

According to the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, the one-car rollover accident occurred at about 10:36 a.m. Friday morning, two miles south of State Highway 113 on Beck County Highway 35 — about 30 miles northeast of Detroit Lakes.

Authorities say it appears the victim was not wearing his seat belt.

The driver’s identity won’t be released until family has been notified.
