Possible Assault At Life Time Fitness Prompts Investigation
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Carver County authorities are investigating a possible assault at a Lifetime Fitness in Chanhassen.
According to an investigation report, the attack happened on Sept.16 just after 5 p.m. The case has been handed over to the Carver County prosecutor.
A senior official at Life Time confirmed an internal investigation involving a possible assault involving members of the club.
In a statement released Wednesday, gym officials said, "Life Time currently is conducting an internal investigation and we continue to collaborate with the authorities in their investigation."
The statement also said: "We remain confident in the security and surveillance measures we have in place at Life Time."
