MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say three people were able to get out safely after a house fire early Monday morning on the south side of Minneapolis.
Fire crews responded to the 3700 block of 10th Avenue South on a report of a house fire at about 6 a.m. When authorities arrived, a fire had started near the back porch of the home and had spread to parts of the first and second floors.
Authorities said the fire caused significant damage to the back porch and minor damage inside the house. Three people, including a child, were inside the home at the time of the fire. Authorities say everyone got out safely.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
