MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Travelers at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport will now have access to free Wi-Fi.

Officials made the announcement Wednesday, saying the launch of complimentary Wi-Fi will include several new access points throughout the airport and an upgrade of existing equipment.

Before moving to free Wi-Fi, travelers had to purchase public Wi-Fi for $7.95.

They are also offering uninterrupted, commercial-free Wi-Fi, with a greater bandwidth and four times the speed for $2.95 for 24 hours.
