MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A suspect is in custody and is expected to be charged in connection with the homicidal death of a Floodwood, Minn., woman who had been missing for weeks, authorities say.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Cristyna Leah Watson, 25, was identified by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner on Thursday evening on a property on Reservation Road in Cloquet, Minn., on the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation.
The Cloquet Police Department is investigating this case with assistance from the Fond du Lac Police Department, the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office/Rescue Squad and the Floodwood Police Department.
