MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — You don’t have to go all the way up to the north shore to check out the fall colors.

There’s a place close to the Twin Cities with some of the most spectacular views in the state — the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum’s Bog Walk.

It’s one of the more unique settings to take in the scenery of the season.

Building a steady path through the bog wasn’t an easy task, as at some points the boardwalk sits 60 feet above solid ground.
