MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The locked out musicians of the Minnesota Orchestra announced Wednesday they’ll be hosting a concert in lieu of their opening night on Thursday, Oct. 18.
The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Minneapolis Convention Center Auditorium and will feature Stanislaw Skrowaczewski. Ticket prices will range from $15 to $40 per seat. Officials said the concert replaces the opening night concerts that were canceled by the Minnesota Orchestra Association along with most of the fall season when musicians became locked out on Oct. 1.
Skrowaczewski is currently the conductor laureate of the Minnesota Orchestra.
