Minnesota Lynx Ready For Game 1, Tix Still Available

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Tonight's the night -- the Minnesota Lynx and Indiana Fever play game one of the WNBA Finals.

Going into this championship series, the Lynx know it can be done, but the Fever did give the Lynx a challenge in those match-ups earlier this season.

Even though they won, both games were very close.

On Saturday, the team got in one of their final practices.

A big advantage for the Lynx -- they've had a week of rest since eliminating Los Angeles.

The Fever only had two days off after their deciding game on Thursday.

The Lynx also know what it's like to win a WNBA championship.
Players and coach are ready to defend their title.

"We're at the end of a four-day stretch," said Coach Cheryl Reeve. "I could tell from the players they're anxious to play. Their focus is great, now ready to apply. I think they leave here pretty excited."

Tip off for Sunday's game is at 7 p.m. at the Target Center.
The second game in this best of five series will be on Wednesday. And next Friday they head to Indiana.
