MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities are investigating after a man was killed in a crash in Polk County Sunday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities said the accident happened at about 3 p.m. on Highway 2 and County Road 17. A man driving a 1975 Chevy truck was heading east on Highway 2 when it broadsided another truck. The man driving the Chevy truck was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck he hit was not injured.
The Minnesota State Patrol identified the victim as 59-year-old Howard M. Pribula of Thompson, North Dakota. Authorities are still investigating what led up to the crash.
The State Patrol is being assisted with the investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
