Police: ATV Flips, Injures 3 Teens

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A farm-duty ATV flipped over in Yellow Medicine County Saturday, sending three of its passengers to the hospital, authorities said.

The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office received word of the incident just before 3:50 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, 2931 480th St. in Granite Falls, they found the ATV's 13-year-old driver and its three 13-year-old passengers, all of which were from the metro area.

The driver, Maija Engebretson, suffered no injuries, the sheriff's office said. However, all three passengers -- Brooke Olson, of Arden Hills; Ava Villaume, also of Arden Hills; and Kristina Quanbeck, of Roseville – did. The passengers were brought to the Granite Falls Hospital for treatment. Olson was later brought to the Children's Hospital.

The conditions of those injured are not known.
