MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two drivers died and many passengers suffered injuries Friday night in a three-car crash in St. Michael, authorities say.
Authorities received word of the crash at around 9:40 p.m., the Wright County Sheriff’s Office said. When officers arrived at the scene, the 8300 block of 10th Street, they determined the crash involved three cars. Officers pronounced two of the drivers dead at the scene.
Emergency crews brought “several passengers” and a third driver to a hospital, the sheriff’s office said. The names of those killed and wounded are being held, pending the notification of family.
The crash is still under investigation.
