ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Goalie Ryan Faragher made only 18 saves, but that’s all it took for St. Cloud State to beat Alabama-Huntsville 4-0 in men’s college hockey on Friday.
The Huskies (2-2-0) outscored the Chargers 12-3 in the two-game series. They oushot UAH 42-18 on Saturday.
Andrew Prochno and Drew LeBlanc each scored a goal and assisted on a goal. Kalle Kossila and Nic Dowd also scored.
Goalie John Griggs had 38 saves for the Chargers (1-2-1). He made 17 stops in the second quarter.
Neither team had any luck on the power play. UAH was 0-for-4 and St. Cloud St. 0-for-5.
St. Cloud St. won 8-3 on Friday.
