MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Vote Yes billboard in Uptown was vandalized Sunday, after someone splattered pink paint over the message.
The vandalism took place after the Minnesota for Marriage campaign released a new TV ad.
“This kind of disrespect is a perfect example of what Minnesotans, who simply believe marriage is between one man and one woman, can expect if marriage is redefined,” said John Helmberger, chairman of Minnesota for Marriage.
There is no word on who damaged the sign — or whether or not any arrests have been made.
