Woman, 35, Accused Of Raping Boy In Western Wis.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 35-year-old woman is accused of sexually assaulting a boy under the age of 16 in western Wisconsin, according to police records at the Polk County Jail.

Nichole Rose Hofferber could be facing charges of rape of a person under 16 years of age, fondling a child with enticement and exposing genitals to a child in connection with the incident.

According to police records, the victim's father called police on Oct. 12 saying that his son had had sexual contact with Hofferber. The man told police she bought the boy a cell phone card and clothes and that they engaged in sex twice in the past month.

A police record says the two had sex and the boy was not using protection because she told him she "had been fixed." The two also engaged in oral sex, and the boy said he drank alcohol at her house. The father told police the boy had received a text message from Hofferber on Oct. 16 saying she was pregnant and that it was from a one-night stand at a bar.

According to the police record, Hofferber told the boy through text messaging that the baby would have to be his. Hofferber was arrested last Friday after Polk County authorities obtained a search warrant for her home.

The Polk County District Attorney will review the probable cause report for charges.
