FARIBAULT, Minn. (WCCO) — A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a level three predatory sex offender who cut off his GPS ankle bracelet on Oct. 22 in Faribault.
George D. McIntosh Jr. was released from prison on Aug. 30 after serving time for two third-degree criminal sexual conduct convictions. He was put on Intensive Supervised Release in Le Sueur County. That’s the closest form of monitoring the Minnesota Department of Corrections has for offenders who are released from prison.
McIntosh is 25 years old, Caucasian, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 160 pounds and has red, shaved hair with blue eyes.
The DOC is working with the Waterville Police Department and the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office to locate McIntosh.
Authorities say to not confront McIntosh and anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the DOC’s 24-hour tip line at 651-603-0026.
