MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Kevin Love says it’s going to be hard not playing in Friday night’s season opener against Sacramento at Target Center.
Love broke his hand recently, and talked about the feelings he’s expecting to have watching the game.
“It’s going to be bittersweet, because on one hand the season is starting I think everybody’s excited about that. We have worked all training camp to get ready. But for Ricky as well as myself, it’s going to be tough,” Love said.
Love told WCCO Radio’s Chad Hartman that he is able to still do a lot, physically.
“What I can do, is to stay in shape, and continue to be vocal with this team, be around the guys, travel with them,” he said.
Love is planning to see the doctor sometime next week about his broken hand.
“I’ll get an x-ray and see where I’m at,” he said. “Hopefully say sooner rather than later I’ll be back.
The Timberwolves gave out free breakfast to downtown Minneapolis workers in the skyways Friday.
You can listen to the game Friday night on the radio home of the T-Wolves — WCCO Radio.
