Contractor Ryan has been busy working on home remodel projects while Congressman Ryan has been hitting the campaign trail.

Mr. Ryan says in the last few months he's received an average of three phone calls a week from voters looking for the Wisconsin congressman. He's also received some entertaining emails. Here are excerpts from a few of them - all from his website notthatpaulryan.com.

"Dear Mr. Ryan,
I am very pleased that you will be the VP candidate with Mr. Romney. We have 2,500 acres of pristine whitetail habitat, and have been providing hunts for terminal youngsters for 11 years, in addition to our regular family and friends that also hunt. I would be honoured, if you could come hunt with us, and see first hand the values of real Americans."

"Honourable VP Patriot Paul Ryan,
NASA provided great achievements in our history. Let's get the world to team up and work together to fund these missions together."

"My husband Paul and I are Republics stuck in Los Angeles. Would you consider coming to Southern California soon? I think there are more Republicans than ever in SoCal. Orange County is close by and there are lots of Republicans there. P.S. We send money as we can."

Ryan says he's also received messages at his office and home phones.

When Congressman Ryan visited Minnesota on Sunday, he tried to get in to see him but was turned away because it was packed with supporters. Ryan's son however got to shake the VP candidate's hand.

"I'd like to meet him some day. I think it will be kind of fun," Ryan said. "You've got to take this with a grain of salt."

As to who he'll be voting for during the election, that's something Ryan will keep to himself.
