ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Two Minnesota legislative races are in line for final recounts.
The first, for a state House seat in the Alexandria area, has incumbent Republican Mary Franson leading Democrat Bob Cunniff by a single vote out of more than 21,000 cast.
The second, for a state Senate seat in the Northfield area, has Democrat Kevin Dahle leading Republican Mike Dudley by 82 votes out of more than 41,000 cast.
Neither race will affect legislative control. Democrats took control of both chambers in Tuesday’s election.
