PRIOR LAKE, Minn. (WCCO) — Mystic Lake Casino Hotel announced that it will begin offering beer, wine and liquor sales starting Wednesday.
The service will first be offered at the Mystic Steakhouse, Meadows Bar & Grill and meeting and convention areas of the enterprise.
“Adding alcohol service to the Mystic Lake experience has been the most frequent request made by our guests for many years,” said Edward Stevenson, president and chief executive officer of the SMSC Gaming Enterprise, which runs Mystic Lake. “We’ve studied the idea very carefully as we’ve evolved toward a casino resort atmosphere over the past several years.”
Alcohol sales will be expanded to locations near the gaming floor over the next month.
Mystic Lake has begun the process of filling about 70 new jobs created by the move, and has already provided training on alcohol service and awareness to nearly 2,400 team members.
