MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – What started out as a Saturday of rain and hail turned into the kind of weather we dream about this time of year.
We hit a record high of 68 degrees Saturday in the metro. Many people were outside in short sleeves, and some even in shorts and t-shirts.
Some used the time for chores. For a while Michael Launer wasn’t even sure he was still in Minnesota.
“Strange weather. It’s more like northern California weather, I guess, in November,” Launer said.
Other’s hit the road, went for a walk, or – like Dustin Bryan – a nice motorcycle ride.
“With the weather the way it is I still get to ride my motorcycle, so that’s a good deal,” Bryan said.
But a day like this is truly meant for play. Whether with the guys or with the family, golf courses were a popular spot.
“Today’s a beautiful day. Sun shining, no clouds. It cleared up after the rain. Had to come out and shoot a nine,” Bryan said.
