MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Sixteen people are out of their home after an early morning fire in north Minneapolis.

The fire started around 4 a.m. Sunday morning in the 3500 block of Dupont Avenue.

Seven adults and nine kids — all from one family got out of the home safely.

Investigators say the fire started in an upstairs bedroom. They are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
