NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. (WCCO) – A hardware store in the Twin Cities metro is taking a gamble on Minnesota’s unpredictable winter weather.
Beisswenger’s Hardware Shop in New Brighton is advertising quite the deal right now. If customers buy a snow blower there by Dec. 23 and it snows at least six inches on New Year’s Day, they’ll get their money back on the purchase. It’s a bet the store hopes will pay off in its favor.
“It’ll be kind of fun to give money back to people (if it snows). I think it would be great publicity,” said Bob Tackey with Beisswenger’s Power Equipment.
This is the first time Beisswenger is offering this promotion. An employee came up with the idea.
