MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are investigating after a baby shower at a church in Moorhead ended with at least one person being stabbed over the weekend.

Authorities said the incident happened Sunday at the First Congregational Church in Moorhead. Authorities responded to a report of a fight at the church. When they arrived, they learned a group of uninvited people had showed up to the shower and started fighting with some of the people who were invited.

Police said Christopher Gray is accused of stabbing someone in the back with a knife. The victim is expected to be okay. Gray is in jail on probable cause felony assault charges. The incident is still under investigation.
