HOUSTON, TX (WCCO) — A resisting arrest charge stemming from a July arrest in Houston, TX has been dropped for Adrian Peterson, according to his attorney.
On Monday night, the Minnesota Vikings’ star running back flew to Texas and appeared before a Harris County grand jury Tuesday.
After hearing from three employees of the club, one police officer and Peterson, they returned a “no bill,” meaning they found no probable cause for the arrest or charge.
Peterson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, says the case will be over Wednesday morning when prosecutors are expected to file formal dismissal of charges.
