MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Thousands of families in the Twin Cities will now get to have a Thanksgiving dinner. The E.J. Henderson Youth Foundation hosted a turkey giveaway Tuesday morning, at the Cub Foods in North Minneapolis.

Several nonprofits, including the Salvation Army and the Minneapolis Urban League, along with local schools, helped identify families for the giveaway.

E.J. Henderson Youth Foundation partnered with Cub Foods along with several other businesses to provide the food.
