MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in an alley.
Police say officers were dispatched to the alley behind 3307 Girard Ave. N. around 11:10 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they found an adult male, who was unresponsive.
Medical efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
The preliminary investigation indicated the man was assaulted. The man’s name and exact cause of death will be released by the medical examiner after the investigation.
