MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis Police have identified the man who was found dead in an alley on Saturday night.
Police say officers were dispatched to the alley behind 3307 Girard Ave. N. around 11:10 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they found an adult male, who was unresponsive. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the man as 41-year-old Kerry Scott, of Hopkins.
The Medical Examiner said Scott died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death has been ruled a homicide.
No one is in custody in this case.
