INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. (AP) — Police have released the names of a woman and her two grandchildren killed in a fiery crash between a car and a school bus in Inver Grove Heights.

Police on Monday identified the victims as the car’s driver, 70-year-old Elaine Clausen, and her two passengers, 11-year-old Laela Shawel and 4-year-old Gion Clausen-Young. All of the victims were from Inver Grove Heights.

The head-on crash happened Friday afternoon. It remains under investigation.

No children were on board the bus at the time of the crash and the 54-year-old bus driver was not hurt.
