MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine has come out with its Best of the Twin Cities edition with a familiar face on the cover.

Yes, it’s our very own Frank Vascellaro on the cover — with the magazine naming him best news anchor and a heckuva super guy.

Jayne Haugen Olson, editorial director of Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine, shared a few thoughts on why they chose Frank and gave us a preview of some of the other “best’s” of the Twin Cities.

In family activities, Zero Gravity won Best Active Family Fun and the Como Park pool in St. Paul won Best New Pool.

In the nightlife category, Best Mixologists went to Eat Street Social and Lynden’s won Best New Soda Fountain.

Mall of America took honors for best mall in the shopping category, while Southdale was recognized for Best Mall Makeover.

Other wins included Uptown Theater for Best Movie Theater and the Holidazzle won Best Parade.
