MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to start planning some weekend fun, starting with the ceremonial trimming of the mustaches. Plus, there’s a shopping event you won’t want to miss. Here are Natalie Kane’s suggestions for how to spend your weekend around the Twin Cities.

End of Movember Run
You stepped up and grew some whiskers for Movember and cancer awareness. Now, it’s time for the ‘stache to go. But before you chop your “mo,” take a celebratory pre-shave lap at the moustache run Saturday at 9 a.m. It’s a 5K in downtown Minneapolis. Registration is $45 if you sign up before the race and $50 on race day.

Target/Neiman Marcus Collaboration
Also on Saturday, Target and Neiman Marcus will debut their holiday collaboration to shoppers. The line features pieces from high fashion heavyweights like Marc Jacobs Rag & Bone and Jason Wu. Most items will be less than $60. Remember when Missoni launched a Target collection? Some stores sold out in minutes.

Monster Jam
Finally, Monster Jam rolls into the Metrodome this Saturday. It’s a freestyle and racing competition of custom-designed beasts that average 12 feet tall by 12 feet wide. Tickets start at $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
