ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The St. Thomas football team is returning to the NCAA Division III semifinals.

The Tommies beat Hobart College of New York 47-7 on Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium in St. Paul to advance and raise their record this season to 13-0. They will play Wisconsin-Oshkosh next Saturday, with the winner moving to the national championship game in Salem, Va. The Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl will be played on Dec. 14.

Freshman Brenton Braddock rushed for 94 yards and four touchdowns for the Tommies, who have won 16 straight home games and are 33-2 there in five years under coach Glenn Caruso.

Last year, St. Thomas lost at Wisconsin-Whitewater in the national semifinals.
