APPLE VALLEY (WCCO) – A 26-year-old Farmington man is dead and another is in critical condition after a rollover crash near Apple Valley late Sunday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Shortly before 6 p.m., a 2000 GMC Savana was traveling southbound on Highway 77 while a 2007 Chevy Tahoe was traveling northbound on Highway 77. The Savana then veered off, hit a metal guard rail, traveled into the northbound lanes and was struck by the Tahoe.

The passenger of the Savana was killed in the crash. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Inoncencio Munoz-Gutierrez of Farmington. The driver, 31-year-old Salomon Adorno of Farmington, is in critical condition.

The driver of the Tahoe, 39-year-old Jason Bruenig of Lakeville, received minor injuries along with passenger, 35-year-old Kristi Breunig. Another passenger, 7-year-old Hannah Breunig, received no apparent injuries.

The State Patrol hasn’t said if the foggy road conditions were a factor in this crash.
