ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WCCO) — Two men are in jail and one man is in the hospital after a massive fight erupted at a Wisconsin sports bar after the Packers-Vikings game Sunday afternoon.
According to the Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety, police were dispatched to the Sidelines Sports Bar parking lot for a fight in progress with approximately 20 to 30 people involved.
Upon arrival, officers located a 50-year-old man unconscious and bleeding from the head. He was taken to a Green Bay hospital where he is in an unknown condition.
A 40-year-old Lakeland, Minn. man was taken into custody and later jailed on a felony substantial battery charge. A Green Bay man was also arrested on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.
Witnesses say the victim was trying to break up a fight between the two men when he was struck and injured.
The exact cause of the brawl is not yet known.
