Editor’s note: Police say they found the missing girl near 22nd Avenue South and 43rd Street in Minneapolis.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old girl after she went missing in south Minneapolis.

The child, identified as Sarahi Ruiz, has been missing since Saturday night.

Police say Ruiz was last seen Sunday at around noon near her residence near 33rd Street and Nicollet Avenue South.

Ruiz is described as a Hispanic female, 130 pounds and 5-foot-11. She has black medium length hair with blonde tips and brown eyes.

It’s unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

Anyone with information about Ruiz’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
