MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A vigil will be held this weekend in honor of the 2-year-old boy who died Wednesday when his older brother accidentally shot him.

The vigil for Neegnco Xiong is slated for Saturday at 3 p.m. on the 1900 block of 7th Street South in Minneapolis, according to pastor Harding N. Smith, president of Minnesota Acts Now.

The boy’s father will speak at the event, Smith said.

Xiong died early Wednesday afternoon. He was shot by his 4-year-old brother.
