MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis police are asking the public’s help in identifying two robbery suspects after they allegedly beat a man last month and stole his wallet.

The robbery happened on the Nov. 22, police say, near the intersection of Central Avenue and 4th Street Southeast. When responding officers arrived on the scene, they learned from the victim that he was approached by two men after getting off a city bus.

One suspect punched him and pushed the victim down. The other suspect also hit him. At some point, the suspects stole the victim’s wallet.

The suspects (pictured) are described by police as thus: One of them is approximately 6-feet-tall with a light build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a baseball hat, a light blue coat and gray sweatpants.

The other suspect is described as standing 6-feet-1-inches tall and he was wearing glasses, a dark leather jacket and a hat with earflaps. This suspect may have been disabled; police said his legs appeared deformed.

If you can identify the suspects or know anything about the robbery, call 612-919-9384. The case number is 12-363055.
