MONTICELLO, Minn. (WCCO) – December represents a Minnesota tradition – the late goose hunt.
Since there are so many, I joined Pete Schmitz this week for a journey into the field.
Schmitz decoys just right on a 17 degree morning. We even practiced our shooting skills – they will never see us until it’s too late.
And I did my own “flagging” routine – normally a can’t miss. But on this day, we only got cold.
