MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Sunday’s snowstorm brought the most single day snowfall in nearly two years. The big totals made for big smiles on the faces of snow lovers and business owners alike.
From the very young to those whose snow boots have trudged a few more miles, all were taking full advantage of the snowfall windfall. Happy winter sport enthusiasts means happy staff at local businesses that rely on the piles of fluffy white.
As the inches of snow accumulated, so did the number of reservations for snowmobile rentals at Cities Edge Motorsports.
Clark Peterson works for Cities Edge Motorsports.
“We’ve had a lot of calls now with all the snow. People are booking reservations, so we’re basically getting all the sleds ready to rent,” said Peterson. “We carry a fleet of over 23 sleds and that’s a big deal with all this snow.”
