ST. CROIX COUNTY, Wis. (WCCO) – A 4-year-old boy is dead after being struck by a truck with a snow plow in Star Prairie Township, Wis., according to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies and emergency crews were dispatched to the 1000 Block of 238th Avenue at 11:52 a.m. Tuesday.
Preliminary information indicates that a family member of the child was snow plowing when the boy was struck. The plow was attached to a 2012 Chevrolet 2500.
The victim was taken to Westfield’s Hospital in New Richmond where he was pronounced dead.
The Sheriff’s Office is now investigating, but it has been called an accident and no one was arrested.
