Man Found Dead In Snow In Shakopee

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police say a man's body was found in the snow in Shakopee Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, the man was found around 8:40 a.m. on the 600 block of South Marshall Road. He was 52 years old.

Officials will continue to investigate the situation, but at this point, police say it appears he was highly intoxicated, passed out and died from a combination of the alcohol and hypothermia.

The man lived in a nearby apartment building, according to police.

His name has not been released.
