MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to start planning some weekend fun! This weekend holiday activities are in full swing. Here are some highlights.

Como Park Ski Center Opening
Sure the snow has been tough on commuters, but skiers are in a winter wonderland. This weekend, Como Park Ski Center will have preseason hours for general snowboard, downhill and cross-country ski use. Individual passes are $10. Regular hours begin Dec. 26.

It’s A Wonderful Life: St. Paul Hotel
Opening this weekend at The Saint Paul Hotel’s “It’s A Wonderful Life:  A Live Radio Play.” For the seventh year, the hotel will be presenting the beloved holiday film in a 1940′s radio play format, all while lunch or dinner is being served. Six actors and a sound effects person perform all the parts of the film. Cost is $60 per person for lunch, $75 for dinner, including tax and gratuity.

Free Northstar Rides With Toys For Tots Donation
Feeling generous? So is the Northstar commuter train. This Friday and Saturday, you can ride free in exchange for donations to Toys for Tots.

And don’t forget, the Holidazzle Parade is Thursday through Sunday at 6:30 p.m. down Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis.
