BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) — David Boehm and Brance Orban had a goal and two assists each to lead Bemidji State to a 5-1 win over Denver Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
The Beavers (5-8-3, 4-7-3) took a 5-0 lead on Jeff Jubinville’s goal at 19:49 of the second period. Jubinville finished with two goals.
Orban and Danny Mattson scored power-play goals for Bemidji State, which had a 30-25 edge in shots on goal. Andrew Walsh had 24 saves.
Nick Shore had the only goal for Denver (9-6-3, 7-4-3), which dropped into a first-place tie with North Dakota.
Adam Murray had 25 saves.
The teams tied 1-1 on Friday.
