NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. (AP) — The New York Mills Cultural Center will celebrate the winter solstice with an evening of music, food and conversation.

Musicians from western Minnesota will gather and perform at the center on Friday night, Dec. 21.

Musicians coming to this year’s Longest Night Music Festival include Elisa Korenne, Dave Virnala and John Perry, all of New York Mills, and David Stoddard of Fergus Falls. They’ll be joined by New York Mills Police Chief Dave Van Schaick and Pelican Rapids newspaper editor Lou Hoglund.

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. No reservations are required.
