OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska-Omaha took a three-goal lead into the third period and coasted to a 5-1 win over Minnesota State, Mankato Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Five players scored one goal apiece for UNO (11-6-1, 7-4-1), including Ryan Walters, whose 10th goal of the season gave his team a 3-0 lead early in the second period.

Johnnie Searfoss, Dominic Zombo, Charlie Adams and Matt White also scored goals. Anthony Stolarz had 27 saves.

Matt Leitner had the only goal of the game for MSUM (10-6-2, 8-6-0). Stephon Williams made 28 stops.

Ten players had points for UNO.
