MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Four Minnesota Vikings will represent the team at the 2013 Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Wednesday.
Jared Allen, Jerome Felton, Adrian Peterson and Blair Walsh have been selected to represent the Vikings in Hawaii next year.
The Vikings had two Pro Bowl selections last season, including Allen and Chad Greenway.
This is Allen’s fifth Pro Bowl. He’s led all players in sacks, with 115, since 2004. Felton was selected to his first Pro Bowl, along with Walsh, who also received the honor of being the first-ever Vikings rookie kicker getting the nod.
This is Peterson’s fifth Pro Bowl in six seasons in the NFL, the most of any active running back in the NFL.
The Pro Bowl will be played in Aloha Stadium in Honolulu on Jan. 17, 2013.
