MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in the Twin Cities had a busy night while thousands of people were out partying on New Year’s Eve.

Minneapolis Police are investigating an apparent shooting near Target Field late Monday night that left at least one person hurt. Authorities responded to a report of a shooting at about 11 p.m. near the area of 3rd Avenue and 5th Street North in downtown Minneapolis.

A short time later, police said one male victim had arrived a hospital with gunshot sounds. It wasn’t immediately clear how badly the victim was hurt.

Police said there have been no arrests in the incident, and anyone with information is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
