MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — We want to wish you a Happy New Year. Despite it being the first day of 2013, there won’t a whole lot open today as it is considered a holiday.

All federal, state, county and city offices will be closed. So will post offices, so don’t expect any mail.

All public libraries will be closed.

And parking meters in Minneapolis and St. Paul will not be enforced.
