MINNETONKA, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities say an exit off Interstate 394 in the west Twin Cities metro had to be closed for a few hours Wednesday morning after a semi rolled over.
The accident happened at about 1 a.m. as a semi-truck was exiting I-394 at Plymouth Road in Minnetonka. Authorities said the driver of the truck was trapped for a short time but was able to walk way without any injuries.
Authorities said the truck was carrying a coil of steel which came loose. The exit was closed until about 4 a.m. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
