MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Lazar Hayward is back on the Timberwolves’ roster after getting waived from the team on Sunday.

He had appeared for the Wolves in two games, totaling 2 points, 2 assists, and 1 rebound in 12 minutes of play and is now re-signed to a 10-day contract.

After playing his rookie season of 2010-11 with the Wolves and averaging 3.8 ppg and 1.7 rpg, he was traded to Oklahoma City in 2011 for two future second-round draft picks.

After one season with the Thunder, he was traded to Houston on Oct. 27, 2012 and released before the 2012-13 NBA season.
